Divisional Relay Carnival @ Overlee
Overlee
Start: 6:30 PM
End: 8:30 PM

Every summer on a Wednesday evening after the 2nd or 3rd A Meet of the season, each of the divisions comprising the NVSL holds a Relay Carnival at one of the division’s pools. Every team in the division may send one, and only one, relay team for each event competed at the Relay Carnival. Only relays are swum at the Relay Carnivals. The Division Relay Carnivals are scored meets. The winning team is officially recognized and receives a trophy. Times from the Relay Carnivals of all the NVSL divisions are collected, and the relay teams with the top 18 times are invited to the All Star Relay Carnival.

Please declare whether your swimmer is attending this meet. This does not guarantee your swimmer will be swimming at Relay Carnival. This indicates to the coaches that your swimmer will be in town and available to swim if they are one of the qualifying swimmers. Knowing who is available before seeding is extremely helpful to our coaches and streamlines the process. We appreciate your cooperation in this matter.

Monday B Meet -- Langley @ HS (HOME)
Highlands
Start: 5:00 PM
End: 9:00 PM

Arrive no later than 4:45pm for warm-ups.

Swimmers may choose two events including IM with coach approval.

In order to ensure a positive experience for all of our swimmers, if the coaches determine that a swimmer cannot technically and accurately perform the stroke and may, therefore, get disqualified, they will not swim the event at a B meet. The coaches will work with swimmers on their technique in practice. This prevents swimmers who are learning new strokes from the negative experience of disqualification until the swimmer is ready.

Parking is limited -- Please do the following:

  • Ride bikes or walk
  • Buddy System: If you can pick one neighbor on the swim team and make a concerted effort to drive together to each home B Meet, we could alleviate 50% of Highlands cars in the lot. Certainly do your best not to have two separate cars from one family.
  • Bryan Branch: Parking is allowed on the creek side of Bryan Branch only. Please park nose towards the creek. Do your best to park in such a way as to leave as much room on Bryan Branch as possible for thru traffic.
  • Gates: The upper gate near the team area will remain locked during the meet for swimmer safety. Please plan accordingly.
  • Neighborhood parking is available.
